Daniel is a senior food and agribusiness analyst at Farrelly Mitchell with vast practical agricultural experience. He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree from University College Dublin where he majored in Food and Agribusiness Management and received the Agricultural Economics Society of Ireland award. Daniel contains extensive knowledge about the industry and has worked on the multiple projects in the supply chain. Daniel is currently undertaking a MSc Management program in Smurfit Business School, having recently completed CFA’s Certificate in ESG Investing.
Prior to his work at Farrelly Mitchell, Daniel has gained experience working at different levels of the supply chain, from a young age. At just 13, he co-founded a successful micro-food company and worked in fruit production, processing and marketing. During his undergraduate degree he travelled to the USA to study abroad at Cornell University, which gave him an insight into American agribusiness. He also completed his university internship with Farrelly Mitchell during which time he developed his knowledge of the global food and agribusiness industry. Since joining Farrelly Mitchell on a full-time basis in 2021, he has worked on a range of projects, including strategic reviews, due diligence, feasibility studies, and research projects. This includes projects within CEA (Controlled Environment Agriculture), poultry & ruminant production, horticulture, food processing, and retail.
