Heidi is a recent graduate with a master’s degree in Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (MSc. CCAFS), first-class honours, from the University of Galway and a BSc. in Plant Science from Wageningen University, the Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Applied Plant Biology (BSc. APB), first-class honours, from University College Cork.
Background
Prior to Farrelly Mitchell, Heidi always had a desire to work within the realm of food systems and creating strategies and policies to achieve sustainable food supply chains. After completing a bachelor’s degree in applied plant biology, Heidi undertook a master’s in climate change, agriculture and food security to learn more about other major confounding factors driving changes within food supply chains globally.
