UNLOCK project | Feather value chain panel

The European poultry sector produces 3.6 million tonnes of waste feathers per year, with only 25% being valorised. The UNLOCK project aims to create value from this waste stream by developing a new value chain that is both economically and environmentally sustainable.

At Farrelly Mitchell, we are proud to have supported this initiative with comprehensive stakeholder mapping, detailed value chain analysis, rigorous evaluation of technical processes, as well as in-depth economic and environmental assessments.

In this recorded panel discussion, our representatives and project partners share their research and outline the challenges and opportunities encountered during the UNLOCK project.
