Key insights from Future Food Forum 2025

At the Future Food Forum 2025, leading voices in the food and agri industry came together to explore entrepreneurship and innovation in the F&B sector.

Our Managing Director, Malachy Mitchell, shared some critical insights into the financial frameworks and strategic support systems that are required for F&B startups to succeed. His commentary emphasised the importance of capital formation, and detailed how choosing the right source of capital is often context-dependent and situation-specific. Malachy explored how venture capital, private equity and blended finance models (such as equity-backed guarantees) can help startups and entrepreneurs successfully transition from lab to market.  He also discussed  the importance of dedicated mentorship from investors, detailing how industry leaders and governments can accelerate growth by providing market access, credibility, and early-stage support.
