Perez Donkor is a project officer based in Farrelly Mitchell’s Accra office. Perez brings a wealth of expertise to the field of agrifood production, with in-depth experience in regenerative agriculture, value chain analysis, and organic food certifications. Perez has managed projects in several sectors including developing village tree enterprises for non-timber forest products such as shea nut, baobab products and honey in Ghana and across Africa. He has also worked in organic certification of legumes and vegetables, forest conservation, and building resilient environmental ecosystems.

He is well-versed in the challenges facing global agri-food production, both current and future, and uses his in-depth understanding of crop commodity markets and plant biology to inform his work. His ability to develop and implement food system strategies and policies is grounded in a deep awareness of food’s multifaceted role in society, including its nutritional aspects, effects on climate change, and significance in different cultural, religious, and socio-economic contexts. With skills in crop production, report writing, agri-food production, global food and agribusiness, and food supply chain optimisation, Perez is a key player in driving agricultural growth across Africa.
