He has worked and consulted in several sectors including large scale corporate farming enterprises, agribusiness, agtech, and trading, milling, meat processing, poultry, consumer foods and dairy sectors.
Ricardo has successfully led numerous feasibility, due diligence, business assessments and development projects in Europe and internationally for major food and agribusiness clients. These projects span the entire food value chain from agri-inputs, large scale farming, and primary production including new farming technologies through food processing, packaging, distribution retail and food service.
Ricardo has a strong understanding of what is required for a product to go from farm to fork, of global challenges impacting the agri-food industry and has consulted on a diverse range of projects in the areas of due diligence, sustainability standards and market studies.
