Dr. Michelle Riblet has over 20 years of experience in the industrial, research and regulatory environments of the agri-food sector. Possessing wide international experience in supporting governments within Europe, the GCC and Asia, she is highly proficient in building effective regulatory systems for enhanced consumer protection and broader access to export markets.
She has extensive knowledge of policy and legislative development, risk-based control programming, organisational structures and capacity building.
Michelle’s in-depth regulatory knowledge allows her to provide tailored support services to the industry sector, specific assessments of the effectiveness of their food safety management systems.
Prior to Farrelly and Mitchell, Dr. Michelle Riblet founded an independent advisory business that supported industry, international institutions such as the FAO, UNIDO and government bodies. Michelle has also worked for the national food safety regulators of Ireland and the United Arab Emirates, as well as research institutes in Ireland & New Zealand and the Irish meat industry sector.
