Fran is the head of finance and operations at Farrelly & Mitchell, where he oversees finance, operations, HR, and IT functions. He plays a pivotal role in enhancing business systemisation and efficiency to facilitate company growth and international expansion. Collaborating closely with the managing director and leadership team, Fran contributes to strategy development and execution.
With a diverse background, Fran boasts extensive experience in international consulting and the food and agribusiness sectors. He previously served as Finance & IT Director at Atkins Ireland Ltd, a leading global design, engineering, and project-management consultancy. His career began as an accountant with Kerry Group, a global leader in taste and nutrition innovation, where he worked in both Ireland and the United States. Fran also held senior finance positions at international fresh produce company Keelings Ltd and Kingspan, a global buildings and insulation group.
Fran excels at supporting high-growth businesses in achieving their growth objectives through efficiency improvements and effective systemisation. Beyond his professional life, Fran is a sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for GAA. He actively contributes to his local club, Ballyboughal GFC, as a coach and club treasurer.
